Story
I am aiming to raise money for both Stroke Central New Zealand and the Whirlwind Mens Support Group. I aim to split donations 50/50, but if you have a preference you can donate directly to either charity. I have never ran a Marathon before but happy to do it for these causes.
If it gets cancelled due to restrictions, I will run my 42km around Kapiti on the 8th May or at the first opportunity and record it on Strava!

Stroke Central New Zealand Incorporated
Stroke Central New Zealand is a member based organisation that provide support for Stroke Survivors and Whanau. We run regular Health Promotion Campaigns to reduce the risk of stroke and other cardiovascular diseases for Aotearoa's population. Our aim is to reduce the burden of Stroke on New Zealand as a nation.
You can reduce your own risks and those around you by taking on the information in our campaigns and creating a more healthy and active life for yourself and your whanau. Additionally knowing how to identify a stroke may save a life: F.A.S.T. Face, Arms, Speech, Take Action (Call 111 if you think you or someone you know experiences a stroke!)
